J.T. McDaniel to Co-Direct, Star in New Play COMING OUT at Abbey Theater; Full Cast Announced
This was the original production announcement. There were significant changes made in the cast and crew in the following weeks, including the departure of the associate director and several cast members, mostly due to work conflicts. The author would also decide to concentrate on acting and script revisions, and a new director would be brought in.

COMING OUT Enters Second Weekend of Performances on National Coming Out Day, 11-11-13
Admittedly, this was a coincidence, as the story points out, but given the decidedly gay friendly, pro marriage equality nature of the play, this was a case where serendipity needed to be played up. Naturally, we’d have mentioned any anti-abuse days (spousal or child) if they’d come up as well, that being another major theme.
